All about Lorde

WALT:Pick a task from the Summer learning journey.

Lorde

Lorde’s real name is Ella Yelich-O’Connor and she was born in Auckland, New Zealand in November 7 1996 and is 23 years old. Her mother, Sonja Yelich, is Croatian and her father, Vic O’Connor, is Irish. Lorde’s parents encouraged her to read a lot as a child. They also encouraged her to follow her passion. Lorde started performing covers (other people’s songs) when she was at intermediate school and started writing her own original music as a young teen.

Lorde went to Belmont Intermediate.
16 years old Lorde became the youngest solo artist to write and perform a Hot 100 chart-topper when this reached #1 (she was 16 years and 11 months when "Royals" climbed to #1)

Do you like Lorde and why?

  1. Kia ora Hunter,
Why did you choose not to do a poster using Google Drawing ? Drawing gives you a few more options tp create an infographic that will capture your audiences attention.
Just be aware of copying and pasting content that you do not plagarise other peoples work. Check some tips out in this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ly_AeHl4t5M.
    Nga mihi,
    Mark

  4. HI, Hunter, my name is Cooper. I am from Marshland School. I like the way you included lots of information. Next time you could tell us what number one means. This reminded me about the time I did a report on Lorde. And no I do not like Lorde.
