Today we watched a video about a boy playing video games he was given a dog and he didn't want it cause it only had 3 legs but he saw the dog playing with a ball so he got up and he only had 1 leg, then they went outside and started playing.

Jesus rose from the dead.
White Hat/Blue Hat:
On the Sunday, Jesus rose from the dead. we know this because there was an angel told Mary that Jesus was alive. They looked in the tomb and saw the rock had been moved. The angel told Mary to tell the disciples that Jesus was alive. Jesus rose from the dead because he was the Son of God.
Yellow Hat:
The positive parts of the story are, Jesus rose from the dead and his friends and mother Mary got to see him again. It also proved that he was the son of God.
Black Hat: the sad parts of the story are, That he died because people didn't believe that he was the son of god but they realised after he died that he was the son of god.
Red Hat:
What emotion do you fell when you watch this? It makes me happy that Jesus rose from the dead and could continue to help and serve others.
Green Hat:
The disciples could write a letter to inform everyone in Jerusalem that Jesus was alive. They could also knock on peoples doors and tell them the good news.

NZSO
Last week on Thursday the Senior Syndicate went to go watch the NZSO (New Zealand Symphony Orchestra) perform at the town hall.
We went in a bus to get there, when we got there, there were a lot of schools there it was like a Tsunami of kids. then we went inside it was Magnificat it looked like they were waiting for the Queen to walk in.
Then we got taken up the stairs by one of the staff members. There was a red carpet on the stairs then we sat down and waited for them to start, I was in the front row.
As we waited they came out in groups and started tuning their instruments. then the host and the conductor came out and the show began. It was the story of Peter and the Wolf and each instrument/group of instruments play a character.
Peter was played by the Strings, The Bird was played by the Flute, The Duck was played by the Oboe, The Cat was played by the Clarinet, Granddad was played by the bassoon, The Wolf was played by the French Horns and the Hunters were played by the Timpani/Drums.
I really enjoyed the performance because it was a different experience.
