Making Tessellations

W.A.L.T move a shape from one point to another without changing the shape, direction or size. 

Today for Geometry we had to make a tessellation either on paper or on your Chromebook, I did it on paper.

A tessellation is a repeated pattern that connects together.

My Great Granddad in WWll

My Great Granddad, my Poppas father in WWII. 

My Great Granddad served in the WWII as an ambulance driver. He took care of all the soldiers that were wounded and drove through heavy fire on the battle field.

 He was a reliable man and was awarded a bravery medal. Below are photos of his medals and 2 description of what the medals are for, and a photo of him driving a tank in Libya, North Africa.

Today I read another book on epic about dirt bikes (by Jack David)
some parts in it where not as good as the other books I have read but also some parts where better,

<----------,like it talked about 2 stroke and 4 stroke motors.

And it talked about the parts on a dirt bike like its chassis, body panels/fenders and suspension and what they all do.

Today I read Dirt Bikes (By Matt Scheff) on Epic Its about Dirt bikes history, supercross racing and freestyle tricks.

I enjoyed reading about the history and fast facts of dirt bikes and how they have inproved over the years.

ATV & UTV Madness

The book I read today was Four wheeler mania it's about ATV'S & UTV'S and what they are, what they do and how they got popular.

But over all I recommend this book to people who like motors or are petrol heads like me.

Adverbs and Imperative Verbs

WALT: identify and understand what an adverb and imperative verb are. 

   We have to write down Imperative verbs and Adverbs and then put them in to 10 sentences.
My sentences are(green is Imperative verbs & purple is Adverbs) 

1. Drive slowly  on the roads.

2. Ride your bike carefully.
3. Don't play your music mix to loudly.
4. Pull the lid open gently
5. Run lightly to the finish line.
6.I always like to jump in puddles.
7. I try to clap quietly.
8. Honestly take me on holiday.
9. Mum says I go easily to bed.
10. Dad said to wash the truck fully.

This book is about weird fact to make you laugh, it has a lot of funny stuff like this picture.

I enjoyed just sitting and reading a book that made me laugh.
